WE’VE MOVED TO OUR NEW LOCATION!
The Nezperce Community Library is still located in downtown Nezperce, Idaho. Our new location is one block north of our old location. The address is now 602 4th Avenue (corner 4th & Oak St), across from the Nezperce Hotel and Serenity Café & Lounge (north) and Bell Equipment (northeast). Everything else remains the same, our phone number and our hours.
Come in and check out books, audio tapes, and movies. These rotate through the Library from the other libraries in the Prairie-River Library District; which include, besides Nezperce; Craigmont, Culdesac, Kamiah, Kooskia, Lapwai, Peck and Winchester. Reference material and local newspapers are also available for you to look over in the comfortable setting of the Library. Computers are also available for wireless Internet access and/or word processing. Browse through our magazines and paperback books available for exchange reading and there are even books for sale to add to your own home library. (click on left picture moving-right picture moving books)
What’s new – EVERYTHING – new bookshelves built by Carl Grobey and family, new computer desks and chairs (same number of patron internet computers – 2), gas fireplace with lots of comfortable chairs to sit in for visiting, reading, etc., teen/youth area with chairs, pre-teen area with table and chairs and games to play, historical pictures and historical items on loan from locals and the Nezperce Historical Museum. So many things, you will just have to come in to see it all.
